Turn any receipt into a clean, categorized expense.

Snap or upload a receipt. Snapcite reads the vendor, date, amount, tax, and line items, decides business or personal, sorts it into a category, and rolls it into your expense reports and tax-time summary.

Receipt to expense

The receipt on the left. Clean data on the right.

One photograph is enough. Snapcite reads it like a trained eye, pulling every relevant field into a structured record you can review, adjust, and include in any report.

Reads any receipt

Crumpled, faded, or shot at a bad angle. It still reads.

Modern vision models handle real-world receipts the way a sharp-eyed bookkeeper would. Thermal paper at the bottom of a bag, an invoice PDF from a client, a screenshot of your last Uber trip, a scanned stack from the year-end folder. Snapcite reads them all.

If a value is not legible, Snapcite leaves the field blank rather than guessing. Every field is editable before anything lands in a report.

Categorization

Sorted before you open the app.

Every receipt gets a category and a business-or-personal verdict the moment it is scanned. Override either one in a click if the model got it wrong.

Auto-categorization

Snapcite picks from a set of standard expense categories: Travel, Meals, Software, Office Supplies, and more. The category appears on the expense and rolls into your report totals.

Business vs personal

The model reads what you bought and flags it business or personal. A coffee meeting reads different from a Friday-night dinner. You can override either verdict in a single click.

Line-item extraction

Individual items and their amounts are pulled from the receipt, not just the total. So a hotel folio shows the room rate, parking, and room-service charges as separate lines.

Reports and export

Reports and a tax-time summary, ready to hand off.

As receipts come in, they land in named expense reports. At the end of the quarter or year, the tax-time summary breaks your spend down by category so you or your accountant can see exactly what is deductible.

  • Named reports: Q3 Travel, Client Dinners, Software
  • Tax-time summary by category across all reports
  • CSV export for your accountant or spreadsheet
  • PDF report export for filing or reimbursement

Model-agnostic

Built to route across vision models, not locked to one.

Snapcite does not depend on a single AI provider. Its extraction layer routes each receipt across available vision models and picks the best structured result. As models improve, your bookkeeping improves too, with no change on your side. All outputs are schema-checked before they reach your report.
